Self trained ceramicist, born in Clifton, Bristol (UK),  lived all over the planet and presently living in Barcelona, I am passionate about all forms of creative expression, but with a personal love for ceramic.

 

Fell in love with Porcelain at the age of 16 and started collecting. And then decided to explore my own expression with this medium while travelling the world, and using the emotional stimulation of these events to create totally unique pieces.

I have always seen porcelain as a medium for expression: its delicacy, its fragility, its hardness.. it represents us...

My expression represents an abstract engagement with the experiences in my own life, the emotions that this stimulates and how this is translated through the delicacy of porcelain.

After processing, molding, drying and firing, the pieces come out between 1mm and 2mm thick, and very light permitting 

them to be used as canvases and after framing hung on the wall. Pieces are signed on the back, so the piece stays as the focus and retains the purity of the projection that porcelain creates.
